What to Expect
The Best of Ireland: Castles, Cliffsides & Cobblestone City Streets
Think cliffside views that stop you mid-sentence, castles tucked into green countryside, cobblestone streets made for wandering, and pubs with live music where the night out that you didn’t expect somehow turns into the best part of the trip.
95% of women come solo on our trips, but it never stays that way for long — by the end of the week, strangers become the friends you'll be planning your next trip with.
Our trips are kept deliberately small, so the whole experience feels upscale from start to finish. Your hosts are there to guide you the entire trip, through every activity, so you never feel alone. We book the accommodations, transportation between cities and activities, arrange the activities, and leave enough open space in the schedule for the plans no one saw coming. You just show up and let Ireland do the rest.
Every site you'd want to see to get the best of Ireland in one trip. Every activity optional, every transfer handled.
01
Day 1 · Sunday, July 18 · Galway
Hello, Galway
Touch down at Shannon and we'll whisk you west to Galway, the bohemian heart of Ireland's Wild Atlantic coast. Drop your bags, freshen up, and meet your group over a welcome dinner.
02
Day 2 · Monday, July 19 · Galway
Cobblestones, castles & exploration
Explore Galway with us. Wander Shop Street, Lynch's Castle, and the Latin Quarter. See Galway Cathedral and follow the river past the Spanish Arch, the Long Walk, and Claddagh Quay. After dinner, the Latin Quarter pubs come alive with live traditional music for anyone who wants to keep the night going.
03
Day 3 · Tuesday, July 20 · Galway
The Cliffs of Moher
Today is the one you'll talk about for years. Head out along the Wild Atlantic Way to the Cliffs of Moher, where sheer sea cliffs rise up to 700 feet straight out of the ocean. Wind in your hair, seabirds wheeling below. Back in Galway, we toast the day over group dinner.
04
Day 4 · Wednesday, July 21 · Galway
Books, boats & a sunset stroll
Start at the Tea Room for brunch, then lose yourself in the stacks at Charlie Byrne's Books. Grab lunch before boarding for an afternoon cruise on the river. Dinner and then a golden-hour walk.
05
Day 5 · Thursday, July 22 · Dublin
All aboard for Dublin
Watch the green countryside roll by on the train across Ireland, as we head to Dublin. Settle in to our hotel, then step inside eight centuries of history at Dublin Castle. We close the day together over group dinner.
06
Day 6 · Friday, July 23 · Dublin
Dublin, your way
After breakfast, the city is yours. Shop, find a cozy café, or simply wander. Meet us at Guinness Storehouse before dinner if you want, before one last celebratory group dinner.
07
Day 7 · Saturday, July 24 · Dublin
Slán go fóill, Ireland
One last breakfast together, then we'll get you to the airport. You'll leave with new friends, a camera roll full of memories, and a little piece of Ireland in your heart.
Here’s your week
Meet your Hosts
Melissa Rae & Katherine Patterson Your Guides + Community Builders
Melissa & Katherine are Austin-based travelers happiest chasing adventure. They met through a Facebook group in 2024, which feels fitting now, since connecting women who love to travel is exactly what they do through the Women's Travel Collective Facebook group. That love for travel and connection eventually grew into Women's Travel Collective, a space for women to explore, find community, and share that same sense of wonder. We're always up for jumping in a river, climbing a mountain, stretching out on a sun-soaked beach, or getting lost in a new city and its culture… always curious, always looking to learn something new wherever we go. Grounded in a daily gratitude and meditation practice, we're drawn to the in-between moments that make travel feel meaningful. We can’t wait to meet you!

Ready for the trip of a lifetime?
With this being my first time traveling internationally, going into the trip i was definitely nervous - not only about being so far from home, but about traveling with a group of people i didn't know and stepping so far outside of my comfort zone. Somehow, by the end of the week, Greece felt like exactly where i was suppose to be. You both created such a fun, welcoming and comfortable enviornment that allowed me to really experience everything instead of letting my nerves get in the way. I feel like this trip opened up a whole new side of me - one that is a little more adventurous, independent, spontaneous and willing to say yes to things that scare me. I don't think i fully expected a vacation to give me that. I'm going home with the best memories, new friendships, and a new found confidence. Thank you for giving me the opportunity and the space to experience all of that, and for taking such amazing care of us along the way. This week is something i'll remember forever. Thank you for providing women with that kind of space, experience, and comfort who may not find it any other way. It's huge.
— Kayla, Greek Islands 2026 AttendeeThe WTC Greece retreat genuinely exceeded every expectation I had. Getting pushed outside of my comfort zone, experiencing Greece for the first time, and doing it alongside 10 amazing women made the entire experience so special. From the very beginning, I felt such a genuine sense of belonging and inclusion within the group. I left feeling so inspired by every single one of the girls and with friendships and memories that I know will stay with me long after the trip. There’s something really special about getting to travel somewhere new while also building such a strong sense of community. I came home with new friendships, so much more confidence, and a genuinely life-changing and inspiring perspective that I wasn’t expecting going into it. The entire retreat was planned out so thoughtfully, the hosts were absolutely amazing, and I truly can’t say enough positive things about the experience. I’m so grateful I pushed myself to do something outside of my comfort zone and took the chance on this trip. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!!

95% of women that attend our retreats and events come alone! That’s exactly why we built this community. If you book a shared room, we will send out a matching form for you to fill out prior to the retreat, so we can thoughtfully pair you with a rommie.
-
If you're traveling on a US passport, then no. Your passport must be valid for at least six months past your arrival date. Not on a US passport? Let us know when you book, and we'll confirm your requirements.
-
Yes! We offer payment plans. You can select your desired plan when you put down your deposit. Automated reminder emails will be sent prior to each payment due date.
-
We can accommodate it! Ireland is very gluten-free aware, and you'll find vegetarian and allergy-friendly options across Galway and Dublin. You'll fill out a form after booking with your restrictions and allergies, and we'll let our group restaurants know ahead of time so they can plan for you.
-
Weather will be mild and damp, with highs of 70°F, lows of 50°F, and light from about 4 AM to 11 PM. Galway gets showers on most days and is wetter than Dublin. Pack layers, a waterproof jacket, and good walking shoes.
We’ll send you a full packing list before the trip so you have enough time to plan.
-
Most of the women that attend our trips fall between the ages of 23-40. If you fall outside of that age range, that’s okay with us, as long as you’re young at heart! All attendees must be AT LEAST 21 years old.
-
Want to arrive early, or spend a few extra days after? Tell us what you’re thinking and we can help point you in the right direction. We can’t book additional days for you, but we’ll help if you need another pair of eyes on your planning.

Here's how refunds work if your plans change:
- 120+ days out: Everything you've paid is refundable except your original deposit.
- 61–119 days before departure: Half of your total trip cost can be refunded — the other half is non-refundable.
- Inside 60 days of departure: At this point, no refunds are available.
PAYMENT POLICY
Securing your spot starts with a $350 USD deposit — this is non-refundable, but it's what holds your place on the retreat. From there, you can set up a payment plan, with the remaining balance auto-drafted on a set schedule (we'll always send a reminder email before each charge goes through). Your full balance needs to be paid off by 60 days before departure.
